OLD TESTAMENT THROUGH AN EASTERN LENS, Wednesdays at 6:30p.m. in room 105 with James Dunlap. 

THE TITUS TEN Tuesdays (except the 2nd Tues.), 7:30p.m., Room 105 with Braydon Chance.

WOMEN'S ADVENT BIBLE STUDY

 Behold the Savior, Advent Bible study begins Tuesday november 18 to Tuesday, Dec. 16, in rooms 103/14.  Behold the Savior is an invitation to slow down and refocus our hearts on Jesus.  You may sign-up for thi study starting Nov. 2 through Nov. 16 in the lobby or online.    Child care will be provided if needed.

THE WAY OF WISDOM EVENING BIBLE STUDY- WILL MEET THIS THURSDAY, NOV. 6, AT 7:00PM AND NEXT THURSDAY, NOV. 13, AT 6:30PM to finish up.

 

BABY/CHILD DEDICATION

 If you would like to publicly dedicate your baby/child to the Lord, we will have a baby dedication Sunday, Nov. 9, during worship.  Register online (click on "view on churchcenter"in the upper right hand corner) or contact the church office for more information.

 

EL SALAVADOR TRIP

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30-MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3.  Please pray for safety for our brothers in Christ who left Thursday morning, for traveling mercies and that much may be accomplished.

 

GRACE CHURCH FOOD PANTRY

KEEP FILLING THE BIG SOUP CANS! - The holidays are coming.  We can add holiday foods.  They could use personal care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, razors, toilet paper, etc. They could also use some can openers as they have some homeless people who could use these things.

Please place your donations in the giant "soup cans" in the foyer and we’ll do the rest. OR, you can drop items off at Grace Church, 1620 N. 11th Ave. E. in Newton on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon and Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m.)

LIFE SERVE BLOOD DRIVE

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 12:30-6:00P.M. IN THE GATHERING PLACE. 123 lives were saved or sustained in Setember.  Register below.

COOKIES NEEDED

Friday, Nov. 28 for the courthouse lighting.  Sign up in the church lobby.  Please bring your cookies to the church Sunday, November 23 through Wednesday, November 26.

PRAYER MINISTRY

PRAYER MINISTRY - Meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. in room 103. Please join this group of prayer warriors as they pray for our church family, our community, and our world.  If you would like to receive the CHAC prayer list by e-mail,  call or email the church office.

ALLIANCE WOMEN

 Next meeting is Thursday, November 13, 10:00a.m. in Rooms 101/102.  Norma Van Dalen will share about her recent trip to Mexico.  All women are welcome. 

WIDOWS' TEA

WEDNESDAY, November 5, 10:00 - 11:30A.M. in Room 106 AT CHAC.  Contact Gladys Harris (641-521-8399) for RSVP or information.  

WORKOUT & WORSHIP

 MONDAY, 6:30-8:00p.m. in the Gathering Place with Hannah Bartlett.   All abilities and ages welcome (kids under 12 must have an adult attending).  Bring a water bottle and an exercise mat or beach towel.  There is no cost to attend.  Join us! 

COFFEE & CHAOS

Join us on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays in November, 9-11a.m. at the church for some warm beverages and playtime for the littles.  We will meet in the Nursery on 11/6 due to setting up for the Newton Christian School Fundraising Banquet.

 

50+ TRIP TO KALONA

We will leave at 10:00a.m., Thursday, November 6.  Cost is $19 per person plus tip.  Twenty-one have registered.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

You may pick up your Operation Christmas Child boxes now in the Welcome Center.  Be sure to take a label and put in on your box.  Please include the $10 shipping cost when you return the filled box to the Welcome Center alcove by Sunday, November 16.  Click on the button below to get suggestions for what to put in your boxes.
