WELCOME TO CHKIDS

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. Community Heights Alliance Church offers programs for kids who are 6 weeks old through 5th grade. 

 

When it comes to kids at Community Heights, we believe that the Bible is the true, inspired Word of God and is essential to growing in relationship with Him. We regularly interact with God's Word and talk about how we can reflect the fruit of the Spirit. We like to think Orange is more than just our curriculum. It is a strategy that gives us opportunities to connect what we do at church with what parents do at home. We use First Look curriculum in the nursery and 252 Basics for K/5.

We believe this is not just babysitting - it's leadership development. At Community Heights Alliance Church, we focus on raising up the next generation of leaders who will change the world for the Kingdom. We are all in at CHKids. Our Lead Pastor is Kids Pastor first, our staff families serve in CHKids, and our Worship Pastor is Kids Worship Leader first. CHKids is one of our highest priorities at Community Heights Alliance Church - because we believe in raising up the next generation.

 

If your kids are Kindergarten through 5th grade, then they come to worship with us in the main auditorium. After worship, all kids are dismissed to follow their trained Kids volunteer to their age appropriate room for the rest of service where they will have a blast! Kids check in starts 30 minutes before service. You can save some time by pre-registering your child below.

Whether you choose to experience Community Heights Alliance Church online or in person, there's something for you!

 

  If you attend in person, our friendly VIP host will show you where our Kids Check-In is when you arrive. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

 

  If you attend online, you'll find that Community Heights Alliance Church services are family friendly. Your kids will love the upbeat worship, easy to understand preaching, and fun service elements. Plus, scroll down on this page to find online resources for families.

0-36 MONTHS

SUNDAYS

Our nursery is clean, safe, and staffed with caring volunteers who will love on your little ones while you attend our 1st or 2nd Sunday morning service. When you check your child in, you will receive a nametag that matches your child's nametag. Children in the nursery review one Bible story a month.  

AGES 3-5 

SUNDAYS

Preschoolers join K-5th grade during the 9 am or 10:30 am service. Your child will enjoy play time and learn our weekly story through video, group activities, and crafts. Kids will worship with their families and be dismissed from the service after music.

WEDNESDAYS

From 6:30 to 7:45 PM on Wednesdays, we will reinforce what preschoolers learned on Sunday through activities, story, playtime, and crafts. We also learn one Bible verse every month. 

K/5

SUNDAYS

During the 9 and 10:30 AM services, K/5 will be dismissed from the service after worship with their families. We spend time in large group with Bible story and application. We also work on our monthly verse and spend time in prayer.

WEDNESDAYS

From 6:30 to 7:45 PM on Wednesday nights (starting Aug. 25), kids have fun learning stories from the Bible with a monthly theme and weekly bottom line. We work to provide a safe, relational, and fun experience while presenting spiritual truth from God's Word. Our Wednesday schedule includes large group, (music and Bible story) small groups that work on activities around the weekly story, and memorizing the monthly memory verse. 

SAFETY AT CHKIDS

YOUR KIDS ARE SAFE

Volunteers at CHKids on campus are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check, CPR certified, and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE IT

Whether your kids attend online or in person, they'll experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at CHKids is to raise up world-changers who understand who Jesus is and how that changes their lives. And, they'll have a ton of fun!
