Mission Statement
The mission statement for Women's Ministries of Community Heights Alliance Church is "to know Christ and to make Him known." To accomplish this, three areas will be the focus of attention:
  1. Discipleship - disciple and train women in Biblical principles for Christian growth.
  2. Evangelism - guide women toward having a burden for the unsaved and to equip them with practical tools for reaching the lost.
  3. Relationships - provide an atmosphere conducive to acceptance, love and support.

Deaconess
Deaconesses generally serve "behind the scenes" in the following areas:

Contact Becky DeHart 526-8541 or Renee Kent 521-4917 for more information.

Heart-to-Heart
"The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things-that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Titus 2:3-5

Heart-to-Heart ministry is a Mentor program in which new Christian women are paired up with a more mature Christian woman to provide guidance and nurturing for the new Christian.

Requirements for mentors are a one-year commitment to their partner and a heart for helping other women grow in their faith. Contact Gladys Harris for more information @ 792-3759

Fellowship/Funeral Committee
"We are simply God's servants...Each one of us does the work which the Lord gave him to do: I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plant, but it was God who made the plant grow." 1 Corinthians 3:5-6

The Fellowship Committee is designed to serve in the kitchen for many occasions that occur in the church. They mostly serve at funerals, sometimes weddings, farewells or for visiting musical or missions groups. They also make coffee and orange juice for Sunday mornings.

Women's Bible Studies
Women's Bible Studies are held throughout the year. The chairperson researches different studies and finds teachers to lead the classes. You must sign-up for the classes and there is generally a charge for the materials.

This is a time for women to grow in their spiritual walk with the Lord and to grow in fellowship with their sisters in Christ.
