Pastor Cory Stout
Hi, I’m Cory Stout, the senior pastor at CHAC. Amy and I met in high school and were married in 93. We have three great children: Drew, Alexis and Allie. As a family we enjoy hikes, bike rides, going on vacation and eating ice cream. We also love sports and can be found cheering mostly for MN teams, which is where both Amy and I grew up.
Before moving to Newton in the summer of 06, I had been a youth pastor for the previous 10 years. It is a passion of mine in ministry to see people becoming disciples of Christ… finding life in Christ, growing up in Christ, and choosing to use their gifts and abilities for the cause of Christ… I am also fully committed to the mission of our church which is‘To Know Jesus and To Make Him Known!’
Pastor Larry Walker
Hi my name is Pastor Larry Walker my wife, Jackie and I have been married for over 20 years . We have four children Tanner, Katie, Kim, Jacob.
We have been a attending Community Heights Alliance Church for the past fourteen years. I came on staff in February of 2002 as the Children's Pastor. Having four children of my own, I have experience with children.
I have a passion to see children come to Jesus and grow in that relationship. There is more to Children's Ministry than just children. Parents play a huge role in the spiritual growth of their children. What we are striving to do is to partner with parents so that children might come to Jesus, know Jesus and grow in Jesus. Pastor Doug Cupples
Hi! My name is Doug“the Youth Guy” Cupples and I am the Youth Director here at Community Heights.
I was born Oct. 14, 1971 and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at age 14. I am a Newton High School graduate and attended Crown College. I am married to Missy and we have 3 kids, Lexie, Bailey and Cade. I am so honored to be used by God to serve our youth. My main focus is to profess Jesus Christ to people so they can put their faith in Him. It’s all about Jesus!
Pastor Syd McCrorey
Ministry:
It is my privilege to serve with the senior adults here at Community Heights Alliance. Seniors are a great group of people. They have great gifts and experience that all of us could learn from.
I grew up in Kenosha, WI. I have a lovely, caring wife named Kathy. Kathy and I met while serving on staff with the City Rescue Mission in New Castle, Pennsylvania. People ask me if she rescued me or I rescued her!
The Lord has blessed with three wonderful children; a daughter, Robin and twin sons Matthew and Eric. They all live in the twin cities area in Minnesota. Eric recently married a lovely gal from Horicon, Wisconsin.
Experience with the Lord:
I first understood the need to trust Jesus for forgiveness of my sins when I was ten years old. I was sitting in a Baptist church listening to a friend of Roy Rodgers, named Redd Harper, preach the gospel. After church, while driving home, my father talked with me further about what this meant. While sitting in the car in our driveway I prayed and asked Jesus to be my Savior. This was the beginning of my desire to be a pastor.
