GRACE CHURCH FOOD PANTRY

THANK YOU FOR FILLING THE BIG SOUP CANS! - They could use personal care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, razors, toilet paper, etc. They could also use some can openers as they have some homeless people who could use these things.  Thank you for your generosity!

Please place your donations in the giant "soup cans" in the foyer and we’ll do the rest. OR, you can drop items off at Grace Church, 1620 N. 11th Ave. E. in Newton on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon and Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m.)

PRAYER MINISTRY - Our prayer group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. in room 103. Please join this group of prayer warriors as they pray for our church family, our community, and our world.  If you would like to receive the CHAC prayer list by e-mail,  call or email the church office.

All ladies of CHAC are invited to a bridal shower on Saturday, May 2, at 9:00a.m., for Madelyn Adkison.  Madelyn and Mitchell Van Zee are registered on Amazon and Walmart.  Come celebrate with us!

 

WALK FOR LIFE

You are invited to participate in the Pregnancy Center's annual Walk for Life on Saturday, May 9.  Registration is in the the parking lot at 8:30a.m. (709 1st Ave W.).  There are pledge sheets in the CHAC lobby.  Take a sheet, fill it out with pledges, collect the money ahead of time, register May 9, and WALK!  Any questions?  Call Sheila Bower @ 641-792-3050.

 

BABY/CHILD DEDICATION

GARDEN MINISTRY

Many hands make light work...if you could help plant, weed, water, harvest, or deliver produce, this ministry is for you!  We will plant Saturday, May 16, at 8:00a.m.  Register below or sign up in the church lobby.  There will be an informational meeting Sunday, May 3.

Graduation Sunday is May 24.  If you're a graduating 2026 high school senior, please give the office the following information:  

Your name, your parents' names, High School name, high school activities, and future plans (college, trade school, job, etc.).  Please include a high school graduation picture as well.  This information must be into the church office by Sunday, May 3, to be included in the Grad Sunday booklet.
