 The Way of Wisdom w/ Anna McNeel meets Tuesdays from 9:00-11:00a.m. in Rooms 103/104.  There is also an evening class on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30p.m. with Kristi Rhoads in Rooms 103/104.  She Belongs by Katy McCown w/ Teresa Wermager meets Tuesdays from 7:00-9p.m. in Rooms 103/104.   Study books are $10 due the first day of class.  Child care will be provided if needed.

Friday, September 12, 4:00p.m. to Saturday, September 13, 10:00a.m. at the circle drive at CHAC.  Join in the fun Friday night only or camp out and stay for breakfast Saturday morning.  Invite other dads and kids!  See Darin Hutchinson if you'd like to join them.

Please place your donations in the giant "soup cans" in the foyer and we’ll do the rest. OR, you can drop items off at Grace Church, 1620 N. 11th Ave. E. in Newton on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon and Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m.)

They have not been able to open every day to help those in need due to a lack of staffing.  Call 641-792-6131 if you can help.

PRAYER MINISTRY - Meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. in room 103. Please join this group of prayer warriors as they pray for our church family, our community, and our world.  If you would like to receive the CHAC prayer list call or email the church office.

 Next meeting is Thursday, October 9, 10:00a.m. in Rooms 101/102.  All women are welcome.

 MONDAY, 6:30-8:00p.m. in the Gathering Place with Hannah Bartlett.   All abilities and ages welcome (kids under 12 must have an adult attending).  Bring a water bottle and an exercise mat or beach towel.  There is no cost to attend.  Join us! 

Save the date!  Thursday, October 16, 6:30p.m.,  again at Adkisons.  This event is for women ages 13 and up (teens must be accompanied by an adult).  Food and drinks will be provided.  Please bring a lawn chair.  Sign-up now through September 14.  If cancelled due to weather, the event will be moved to Thursday, October 23.  Don't miss it!

Join us on th second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 9-11a.m. at the church for some warm beverages and playtime for the littles.  

Saturday, September 27, 9:00a.m., in the Gathering Place.  Help R.J. & Kasiah Brown celebrate the arrival of baby girl, Brooke.  Items needed:  Kirkland or Pampers swaddlers size 2 or 3 diapers, wipes, and Walmart/Target gift cards.  We hop to see you there!

CHAC Family may help themselves to the remaining tomatoes, peppers, and green beans the next few weeks.  Thanks for all who helped with the garden ministry.  Many in the community were fed by it.  Lynndon Shilling.

 LOCATED ON THE COATRACK OUTSIDE THE CHURCH OFFICE.  Lost glasses and jewelry are in the church office.  There are some baking and storage containers from the kitchen on the coatrack waiting for owners. Please check there for your missing items.
