EXPERIENCE COMMUNITY HEIGHTS

Love God, Love our Neighbor, Make Disciples

We're a community of believers from Newton and the surrounding area who are family oriented and have a passion to love God, grow together in Christ, and serve the world.  Whether you are a follower of Jesus Christ, looking for a church where you can grow in your faith, or are not sure about Jesus yet, there is a place for you here. You'll discover friendly people who genuinely care about each other and you.  If you're ready to take the Next Steps, we'd love to have you join us as we #LoveNewton!

WHY WE EXIST

LOVE GOD

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.'"

Matthew 22:37-38

God created us to be in a love relationship with him. So, how does that work? Through faith and trust in God's perfect son, Jesus! By allowing his Spirit to fill and guide us each day - through prayer, reading the Bible, worshipping Him - loving God and being loved by Him shapes every aspect of our lives.

LOVE OTHERS

"And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandements."

 Matthew 22:39-40

We are a multi-generational family - a body of believers who are called to love and care for one another - with a passion to reach the next generation for Christ, to address the practical needs of people in our community; and to share the love of Christ with lost and hurting people around the world.

MAKE DISCIPLES

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

We want others to know Christ and the life-changing message of the gospel. So, we are compelled by Jesus' command to pursue individual spiritual growth, to teach one another, and to make disciples of all nations.
